In 1930s Moscow, Marguerite, in love with the Master, a cursed writer, signs a pact with the devil, who has arrived in town in the guise of the magician Woland. This modern Faust draws you into a burlesque universe that ferociously denounces all forms of totalitarianism.
In The Master and Margarita, Bulgakov interweaves the myths and artistic expressions that have forged our societies, proclaiming the freedom of the artist and rejecting the standardization of thought.
