Journée Provençale

Transhumance is an important part of Provençal tradition. More than 2,000 sheep, accompanied by dogs and horses, parade around the village to the sound of tambourines.

The streets of Jonquières will be thronged with exhibitors showing and selling their local delicacies and artisanal crafts. A host of displays and activities celebrate nature through seasonal performances and workshops that can be enjoyed by everyone, whatever your age.
