Les Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art

This three day event takes over the historic centre of the village of Pernes with activities and demonstrations inspired by traditional crafts. A chance to discover rare and unusual ways to ply a trade. The artisans will be waiting for you in their studios to share their passion for their skills and special know-how with you.

Pernes les Fontaines has a long tradition of arts and crafts following a major programme of renovations and refurbishments in the town centre. The place was named an “Arts and Crafts Town” in 1998. This quality scheme fits in perfectly with the policy of “quality of life and economic and environmental solidarity” advocated by the municipality for many years already.
