In summer and winter alike, a whiteness persists at the summit of Mont Ventoux. This giant is our Provencal Mont Fuji. At its feet, countless water springs flow noiselessly from here and there.
Some are well-known: Fontaine de Vaucluse or the Groseau spring.
Joël-Claude Meffre, poet and archaeologist, and Ji Dahai, painter-calligrapher, visited around twenty in one year. Ji Dahai, using ink and brushes in his notebooks, traced each of these emergences on the spot. Joël-Claude Meffre, searching in the sources of his words for the word that listens. It was in Brantes, after the last visit, that the word resurgence came to mind as a key.
