Event at Avignon :
An annual event to promote and support contemporary creation in its amazing diversity: painting, sculpture, photography... Also the opportunity to meet the artists and exchange with them on their work. Entrance to exhibitions and events are free of charge.
Each year, a selection of visual artists (painters, sculptors, photographers, video artists, etc.) whose work is resolutely contemporary and ongoing are invited to exhibit in Avignon's heritage sites.
An itinerary is thus proposed to visitors who can stroll through the city.
Over the years, the Parcours de l'Art has created a buzz around contemporary art in the heart of the city, not only through its exhibitions, but also by offering complementary activities: children's workshops, lectures and debates, readings and screenings, visits with a mediator...
The 31st edition of the Parcours de l'Art runs from October 10 to 26, with the theme "Nos mondes intérieurs" (Our Inner Worlds), exhibited by some 15 artists.
Exhibitions, encounters, performances, lectures and mediations bring us closer to the creative gesture, to the inner worlds of artists, collectors and audiences.
