From Friday 24 to Saturday 25 April 2026.
Event at Avignon :
The aim of the festival is to bring the benefits of urban agriculture and the ecological transition to as many people as possible!
Following the success of previous editions, the must-attend event on urban agriculture returns to Avignon, for a new special edition of Tiers Lieux!
This weekend is the ideal opportunity to cultivate the city together, discover committed local players and share know-how. A family-friendly, inclusive and exciting event, dedicated to those who want to get involved in urban agriculture and promote sustainable solutions.
On the program
Friday, April 24
At Tipi, 57 avenue Esenhower
Apéro-Réseau Transition - 6pm to 8pm hosted by Eco-Lab environnement
Open to all to meet local associations and players in the Ecological Transition!
At L'Éveilleur, 14 impasse Baroni
Conference "Everything you've never been told about your houseplants" at 7 p.m. hosted by Emma Castanier of the Recyclerie végétale Pilea Project at l'Éveilleur.
Saturday April 25th
At Tipi from 9am to 5pm
- Big sale of organic plants - vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs!
- Participative worksite
- Visit the urban farm
- Family workshops
- Ceramic Workshops
- Brunch - proposed by Irène Khaletzky from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Tipi refreshment bar open all day for refreshments!
At l'Éveilleur
- Recyclerie végétale - Opening of the Pilea Project boutique (sale of houseplants!) and tour of the greenhouse from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Low Tech workshops (solar oven, Norwegian pot, rocket stove) - 9:30am to 6pm
- Upcycled Terrarium workshops - led by Emma from Pilea Project from 5pm to 6:30pm
- Screening of the film "Énergies Communes" by Simon Bouchard, followed by a debate from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - Admission free and open to all.
- Espace inspiration low Tech (mobility, habitat, plants, Sobr'Industrie and many other subjects!) - 9:30am to 9pm
- Introductory lacto-fermentation workshop, Chez Youpi, opposite l'Eveilleur, 26 avenue Saint-Ruf - 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
- Low Tech banquet from 9.30am to 9pm - refreshments and nibbles, small-scale catering cooked the previous days in a solar oven, lacto-fermented products and sprouted seeds.
- Cooking workshop and shared dishes brought by participants
At Héliotrope (788 Chem. des Vendanges) - Barthelasse
- Strawberry picking
- Thrift shop
- Entertainment
- Sale of organic vegetables
- Guinguette - with food and drink!
- Live music
