The tourist service at Avignon :
An iconic outing reserved for the most seasoned riders.
From Malaucène, the road winds its way to the hamlet of Vaux at the bottom of the Toulourenc valley, then climbs back up to join the road to Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, where it becomes free. The forest section begins with the GR4 towards the hamlet of Bernard-la Frache. This is followed by a 15 km ascent (steep for the calves!) on forest tracks to the Mont Serein resort. The route then becomes panoramic on the ultra-gravel 1500 route to Chalet Reynard, before the mythical ascent of the Géant de Provence via the Bédoin road. Return by road to Malaucène. An iconic outing reserved for the most seasoned riders.
